Where In Wears Valley Is It?

The drive up to Cove Creek Overlook isn’t for the faint of heart, but the coziness of the log cabin and views of Cove Creek in Wears Valley are definitely worth the trip. Perched on the mountainside, Cove Creek Overlook is perfect for a couple’s retreat, a honeymoon, or any time you are in the mood for a mountain getaway. Being only minutes from the Parkway in Pigeon Forge, the cabin is just the right size for two people with one bedroom and two bathrooms. Cove Creek Overlook is non-smoking and does not allow pets.

The Main Level

The main level at Cove Creek Overlook features an all wood interior with cathedral ceilings. In the living area there is a three cushion sofa and a leather recliner. The sofa faces the gas log fireplace and the flat screen cable TV complete with a DVD player. Cove Creek Overlook also features a fully equipped galley style kitchen. All of your major appliances (including a refrigerator, electric stove/oven, microwave, and dishwasher) are available, and several counter top appliances (including a coffee maker, electric can opener, and toaster) are provided as well. Just to the right of the sofa and off the kitchen is a full size dining table. It can easily seat four if you happen to have guests visiting the area. The dining table can also serve as a work space for your laptop on the free Wi-Fi connection or double as a game table.

The Upper Level

Cove Creek Overlook features one main bedroom with a king size bed and a log headboard. The bedroom also includes its a second cable TV, a large whirlpool tub, a ceiling fan, and a reading lamp. Adjacent to the bedroom is a bathroom complete with a combination tub shower, a single vanity, and a toilet. A stack washer and dryer is located in the under-stairs closet as you enter the bedroom on the right. Just outside the bedroom is the covered outdoor hot tub overlooking Cove Creek. The upstairs of Cove Creek Overlook features a sitting area complete with a third cable TV and a second bathroom. The bathroom is complete with a combination tub shower, a single vanity, and a toilet.

Outside The Cabin

There is also a covered deck just off the sitting complete with rocking chairs. After a full day of exploring Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, or the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Cove Creek Overlook has plenty of rocking chairs and provides many opportunities for relaxing. To make your Smoky Mountain stay even more convenient, Cove Creek Overlook also offers a stack washer & dryer, an iron & ironing board, and high speed wireless Comcast Internet. You will also find a charcoal grill on the covered front porch.
